Salut 2015

Ten years of intensive research, extensive excavation and careful restoration finally gave back to Salut its ancient monumentality, making it a landmark for the whole area. Indeed, the site lies nested within an incredibly reach archaeological landscape which comprises Bronze Age towers and tombs, Iron Age settlements and burials, early Islamic settlements and mosques, as well as the relics of traditional field systems which were active up until a few decades ago.
