Where Salut is

 
The archaeological site of Salut is located in the interior region of Oman - Al Dakhliyah - about 40 km west of the best known ancient town of Nizwa. The site is located on the road connecting Bahla with the village of Bisya, about 20 Km past the Jebreen Castle. 1 Km before entering the village, a track on the right side leads to the site. Local transports and taxies operate regularly from/to Bahla and bus/coach services are available.
