In the heart of Oman, at the centre of an isolated plateau, the hill of Salut rises with its imposing presence. Here legends intertwine with history: Salut was visited by Solomon son of David, but it was also the spot where the Arabian tribes won a great victory over Persians, a key event in the history of Oman.
